Terms & Conditions
The Terms of Travelling With Us
Effective 27 July 2026 · ReadyOne Transportation and Tours Ltd.
These terms set out what you can expect from ReadyOne Transportation and Tours Ltd. and what we need from you in return. They apply every time you book a transfer, a tour or any other service through this website, by telephone, or by message. Please read them before you book — paying a deposit means you accept them.
01 Who we are
ReadyOne Transportation and Tours Ltd. (“ReadyOne”, “we”, “us”) is a Jamaican-owned transportation and tour company providing airport transfers, private charters, tours and related travel services in Jamaica.
In these terms, “you” means the person making the booking. If you book on behalf of other passengers, you are responsible for making sure they know and follow these terms, and for paying for the booking in full.
02 Making a booking
Submitting the booking form is a request, not a confirmed reservation. It tells us what you want and reserves nothing on its own. Your booking is confirmed only when we have received your deposit and sent you a confirmation email carrying a booking reference that begins RO-.
Until the deposit is paid, your date and time are not held. If another customer pays for the same slot first, that slot is theirs. If you have started a booking and not finished paying, use the payment link in your email, or contact us and we will send you a fresh one.
You may hold up to 3 unpaid booking requests at any one time. If you reach that limit, complete or cancel one of them before starting another, or contact us and we will help.
We may decline or cancel a booking request where the service is unavailable, the details are incomplete or evidently incorrect, the journey cannot be performed safely or lawfully, or we have reasonable grounds to believe the request is fraudulent. If we decline a request you have already paid for, we will refund you in full.
03 Prices and quotes
All prices on this website are quoted in USD. The price shown to you when you book is the price that applies to that booking, even if our published rates change afterwards.
Some services are priced per vehicle and some per person. Where a service is priced per person, the total changes with the number of passengers you enter, and the number you give us is the number we price and plan for. Please tell us the correct party size — extra passengers arriving on the day may not fit the vehicle we have assigned, and will be charged for.
Unless we have stated otherwise in writing, a quoted price does not include:
- Entry fees, attraction tickets or activity charges on tours;
- Meals, drinks and personal spending;
- Gratuities for your driver or guide, which are always at your discretion;
- Waiting time or extra stops beyond those agreed when you booked.
04 Payment
To confirm a booking we take a deposit of 25% of the total price. Card and PayPal payments are processed securely by PayPal — we never see or store your full card details on our systems. An invoice is emailed to you automatically as soon as a payment succeeds.
The remaining balance is due before or at the start of your service. You can pay it online using the balance link on your invoice, or in person to our team by cash, card or bank transfer. Payments taken in person are recorded against your booking and receipted in the same way.
We may treat a booking as cancelled if the balance is not paid by the time the service is due to begin. Where a payment fails, is reversed, or is charged back after a service has been provided, the amount remains payable to us.
05 Changes and cancellations
If you need to change or cancel
Tell us as early as you can, by phone or email, quoting your RO- reference. We will always try to move a booking rather than cancel it. The following applies to cancellations, counted from the scheduled start of your service:
| Notice given | What happens to your payment |
|---|---|
| More than 48 hours | Full refund of everything you have paid, including the deposit. |
| 24 to 48 hours | Any balance paid is refunded. The deposit is retained. |
| Less than 24 hours | No refund, as the vehicle and driver have been committed to your booking. |
| No-show | No refund. See the waiting times in section 6. |
Changing the date, time, pick-up point or party size may change the price. If a change increases the price, the difference is payable before the service; if it reduces the price, we refund the difference. Refunds are made to the original payment method and typically take five to ten business days to appear, depending on your bank.
If we need to change or cancel
Very occasionally we may need to cancel or alter a booking — for a vehicle fault, a safety concern, severe weather, road closures, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. If that happens we will contact you as soon as possible and offer you an alternative time, an alternative vehicle of at least the same standard, or a full refund. We are not liable for consequential costs such as missed flights, forfeited hotel nights or onward travel arranged with a third party.
06 Airport transfers
For airport pick-ups, please give us your flight number and scheduled arrival time when you book. We monitor arrivals and adjust to reasonable flight delays at no extra charge — this is exactly why we ask for the flight number.
Waiting time is included as follows:
- Airport arrivals: 60 minutes free from the time your flight actually lands, allowing for immigration and baggage.
- All other pick-ups: 15 minutes free from the agreed pick-up time.
Beyond those periods, waiting time may be charged at our standard rate, which we will tell you before it starts to run. If we cannot reach you and you have not made contact within these windows, the booking may be treated as a no-show.
If your flight is diverted, cancelled or rescheduled, contact us as soon as you know. We will do our best to accommodate the new time and will not treat a genuine airline disruption as a late cancellation.
07 Tours and excursions
Tour itineraries, timings and stops are indicative. Traffic, weather, sea conditions and the opening hours of attractions can all require us to reorder or shorten a route on the day. Your driver or guide will always act to keep you safe and to give you the best possible version of the trip in the circumstances.
Some tours include entry to attractions or activities operated by third parties. Those operators set their own terms, safety rules, age limits and health restrictions, and you agree to follow them. Where an attraction is closed or an activity is cancelled by its operator for reasons outside our control, we will refund any element of the price we have not already paid to that operator, or offer a suitable alternative.
Please tell us at the time of booking about any medical condition, mobility requirement, allergy or other need that could affect your participation, so we can advise honestly on whether a tour suits you.
08 Your responsibilities
When you travel with us, you agree to:
- Give accurate contact details, pick-up and drop-off addresses, timings and passenger numbers;
- Be ready at the agreed pick-up point at the agreed time;
- Wear a seat belt where one is fitted, and follow your driver's reasonable safety instructions;
- Supervise children in your party at all times;
- Not smoke, vape, or consume illegal substances in our vehicles;
- Not behave in a way that is abusive, threatening, or unsafe to the driver or other passengers.
Children and car seats. Tell us the ages of any children travelling when you book, so we can provide an appropriate seat or advise you to bring your own.
Luggage. Tell us if you are carrying oversized items such as golf bags, surf boards or wheelchairs, so we assign a vehicle that fits. Luggage remains your responsibility throughout, and we ask you to check you have everything before your driver leaves.
Damage. You are responsible for the cost of repairing or cleaning damage caused to a vehicle by you or your party beyond normal use. A driver may end a journey where behaviour makes it unsafe to continue, and no refund is due in that case.
09 Our vehicles and drivers
We operate licensed and insured vehicles with professional drivers, maintained to the standard required by Jamaican law. Where we show a particular vehicle on this website, it is an example of the class you have booked rather than a promise of that specific vehicle; we may substitute another of equal or higher standard.
From time to time, and to keep a commitment to you, we may arrange for a trusted partner operator to perform a service. Where that happens, we remain your point of contact and these terms continue to apply.
Lost property found in a vehicle is held for 30 days. Contact us with your booking reference and we will arrange its return, though we may ask you to cover courier costs.
10 Liability
We take our duty of care seriously and will provide our services with reasonable skill and care. Where we fail to do so, we are responsible for loss you suffer as a foreseeable result of that failure.
Except where our liability cannot lawfully be limited — which includes death or personal injury caused by our negligence, and fraud — our total liability in connection with a booking is limited to the amount you paid us for that booking. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including missed flights, connections or events, or for losses caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control such as extreme weather, natural disasters, civil unrest, industrial action, or the closure of roads or attractions.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under Jamaican law.
11 Complaints
If something goes wrong, tell your driver at the time if you safely can — most issues are best fixed on the spot. If that is not possible or you remain unhappy, contact us within 14 days of your service, quoting your booking reference and what happened.
We aim to acknowledge every complaint within two business days and to give you a full response within fourteen. Complaints are handled by our management team, not by the driver concerned.
12 Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as our services change or the law requires. The version published on this page when you make a booking is the version that governs that booking, so a later change will never alter the terms of a trip you have already paid for. The effective date at the top of this page tells you when this version took effect.
13 Governing law
These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of Jamaica, and the courts of Jamaica have exclusive jurisdiction. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
How we handle your personal information is explained separately in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Questions about this page?
If anything here is unclear, ask us before you book rather than after. We would far rather explain a term in advance than argue about it on the day of your trip.
